Livestock Grazing
at McCleary Ranch in Washoe Valley, Nevada

Each year we lease out a variable portion of our irrigated and non-irrigated pastures to sheep, cattle, goat, and/or horse owners to graze their livestock while the feed lasts. Currently we maintain a wonderful and longstanding covenant with a sheep owner who rotates sheep on and off our available acreage at various times of the year.

However, we have some areas on the ranch where goats in particular would thrive (areas that the sheep are not crazy about because they do not prefer being in the tall brush), so if you are a goat owner who is interested in talking with us about bringing your goats to graze on our farm part or even perhaps all of the year, please contact us.
